The Moment.
The bow rises. The sail catches. Salt air, that slanting golden light at five — that's where I want to be, and where your images will come from.

What people say.
“We booked Arnd for a two-hour session off Palma. The photos exceeded every expectation — natural, full of movement, completely unposed. The light in the late afternoon shots is unreal.”

“Professional, calm, and very present on the water. He found angles I never would have imagined. The final gallery arrived within a week and we printed three of them straight away.”
Marco F.
July 2024
“Arnds.photos captured exactly what sailing feels like — not what it looks like in a brochure. That's the difference. Highly recommend for anyone serious about their boat photography.”

Let's talk.
Tell me about your boat and your ideal day on the water. I'll get back to you within 24 hours.
Or message on WhatsAppQuestions.
Where are sessions based?
Most sessions depart from Palma de Mallorca — Port Portals, Club de Mar, or wherever your boat is moored. I'm also available at other bays and ports around Mallorca.
Do I need to have a specific type of yacht?
Not at all. Sailing yachts, motor yachts, classic wooden boats — what matters is the light and the atmosphere, not the horsepower.
How many people can be on board?
Entirely up to you. I've photographed solo sailors and full families. Just let me know so I can plan the session accordingly.
What if the weather doesn't cooperate?
We reschedule, no stress. Some of my best work has come from overcast days with dramatic skies — but we'll find a date that suits both of us.
What camera equipment do you use?
I shoot on medium format (Fujifilm GFX) and use fast prime lenses. Everything is handheld on the water — no tripods, no artificial light.
Can I get prints?
Yes. Open Water and Full Day sessions include fine-art prints. Additional prints can be ordered for any session.
