About the work
Made in Berlin’s Hansaviertel, the quarter built for the 1957 Interbau as a showcase of post-war modernism. The image is my tribute to its architecture – to line, colour and order that still feel radical today.

The artist
Arnd von Wedemeyer
Arnd turned to photography in 2023, after three decades in business – a career spent reading people and negotiating. Since then he has rarely been without a camera. His work pairs a sharp eye for geometry and architecture with an instinct for the human moment within it. He works in Palma de Mallorca and Paris.
