About the work
Taken at Rotes Rathaus station on Berlin’s U5. While the train rushes past, she sits completely still, absorbed in her phone – the one fixed point in the frame.

The artist
Arnd von Wedemeyer
Arnd turned to photography in 2023, after three decades in business – a career spent reading people and negotiating. Since then he has rarely been without a camera. His work pairs a sharp eye for geometry and architecture with an instinct for the human moment within it. He works in Palma de Mallorca and Paris.
